Part of the mission of GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME (GYHITG) is to introduce brain tumors to the general public through education and
brain tumor awareness efforts. This is a grass roots movement!
The
brain tumor community at large (yourself included!) get to be amazing
ambassadors for the cause. When you wear the gray or orange brain tumor
awareness bracelets, or participate in an event, people are going to ask you
about brain tumors. This is your opportunity to educate them. Here are
some brainy educational tools to help you spread brain tumor awareness.
Our GYHITG website is full of brain tumor “factoids” that you can share.
Neuroscience Resources for Kids
This is a great site for children, with brain games and links to additional brain education.
The Secret Life of the Brain

location of tumors in the brain is one of the factors that determines
how a brain tumor affects an individual's functioning and what symptoms
the tumor causes.

The Franklin Institute: The Human Brain
