Since our focus this week is on furry animals, I thought I would introduce an amazing resource called Canine Assistants.
Canine Assistants is an organization based in Atlanta, GA, that breeds and trains service dogs for people with disabilities, including seizure disorders. What sets this organization apart from other service dog providers is that they cover the entire life-long cost of the dog, and the founder, Jennifer Arnold, has her own amazing story of surviving MS and how her love for animals not only helped her, but progressed into a passion for helping others.
People and dogs are matched up at the training camps, and you can learn more about the wonderful services they provide here.
To watch about the amazing matches that happen between people and dogs and see the amazing work that these furry little creatures are capable of, sit back and watch this video – it’s absolutely a “feel good” moment for the day!
