Recently, the FDA advisory panel reviewed NovoCure’s application for the approval of NovoTTF-100A for treatment of recurrent GBM tumors that do not respond to other therapy. NovoTTF-100A is a non-invasive experimental medical device that delivers continuous low intensity alternating electric fields to the malignant tumor in the brain.
