Spring is always full of events at NBTS! Here are a couple events that are taking place this weekend:
If you are attending either of these, we thank you and hope that you have a wonderful time! Also, before signing off for the weekend, prepare to wow your friends and family with these tidbits about the month of MAY.
Did you know…
- Emerald is the birthstone for May
-
May Day is the first day of May and is celebrated around the world. In many countries, it is a celebration of spring and the coming summer.
- In
both common Western calendar systems, no other month begins on the same
day of the week as May. This month and June are the only two months
that have this trait, though the first day of August in a common year
and the first day of October in a leap year are also unique.
- Lily of the Valley represents the birth month of May.
Symbolic meaning: humbleness and humility; sweetness and perfect purity; return of happiness.
