husband has a gliosarcoma 4
By
judy
Good morning,
My husband was diagnosed with a gliosarcoma grade 4 November 22, had surgery to remove 99.9 of the tumor on the 23rd. We went to NIH for 2nd opinion & checked out a clinical study with valporic acid. Which in our case would not have worked for David and his type of tumor. So we ended up staying closer to home (which I think was a blessing as we are near all we love) Still doing a clinical study here in Maine which is radiation x 30 and temodar daily and then tomorrow starts IV avastin or could be placebo...that is the downside of the clinical not knowing what you are gettting. All his labs are coming back wonderful (platlets were even up last week) A friend said to me one day and it has stuck in my head "fight one battle at a time not the whole war"
God Bless, Judy
