Had a nice 30 minutes walk yesterday. The city built a water fall several years ago, and we can follow the path not far from our house. It takes exactly 15 minutes to reach the place. We always sit and rest for about 10 minutes - enjoying the sound and sight of the flow - before heading back. The path is usually quiet. Hubby tried to show me the ducks he'd seen the past few days down the stream, but there was none in sight...

'Admitting' is the first step to recovery/improvement (12 steps of the AA program :) Looks like you are doing great! I have problems remembering to take my Tamoxifen (for breast cancer prevention) We bought a 7-day pill box , and my husband is now responsible for reminding me to take the pill. [Tried alarm, chart, ... didn't work. :)]

Received an e-mail from the Captain of Women's Basketball Team my Sophomore year before New Year's Eve. One of our teammates - Houtzu (= 'Monkey' - so nicknamed because of her jumping ability as well as the pronunciation of her last name) had been diagnosed with cervical cancer late September and was in bad shape. Within 3 weeks - at early dawn of January 18th, she passed away before reaching her 51st birthday. She'd been a biology professor at a major university in Southern Taiwan. So sad.
